I've watched this race 3 times now and the same thing keeps happening, should I try a forth? How is the car coming, any estimate on when it comes home?

Maybe try the next race? No clue, it has been in the shop for 2 weeks and one day and as of Saturday, no work had been done.

I did all of last winter, it is my only car. I am currently driving a beater Chevy Blazer my parents bought to haul things around (and to force my brother into owning when he gets his license - we won't let him buy an old car)

My brother drove his in the snow also, mostly sideways

Oh yeah, if it was snowing out most of my steering was done with the engine. I freaked out a friend of mine when I drove him home one day after a foot of snow had fallen and several - it was the first time the car had been on the interstate, the heater was broken, we got lost, and I drifted into a parallel park in front of his house. He must have liked the experience because he let me convince him to buy a car built in 1969 as his daily driver.
